Lord deliver me from writing a blog post on Mother’s Day!

Thank God for answered prayers!  OK, I already knew the answer to this one thanks to the WordPress post scheduler button thingy!  So this is one of those Rice Krispie Treat moments where it looks like I’ve slaved over something that was really easy peasy.  Yes I have been delivered…which segues nicely since it is also the thought for day 13 of the Challenge

Today’s scripture is:

Psalm 34:4-5  I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.  Those who look to him are radiant;  their faces are never covered with shame.

And because it’s Mother’s Day and all mothers know that sometimes things just want to make you scream, here is a blog post that will make you want to scream with laughter! Darla’s (She’s a Maineiac) post was featured on the Freshly Pressed page for WordPress.  Trust me, it will make you laugh and cry at the same time and apparently Darla likes to have that effect on people…at least that’s what she told me.  I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

Yes, I know the picture above really has nothing to do with the post I’ve written today.  It’s what I imagine Todd and I would have looked like if we had met as babies.  (Translation…I couldn’t find anything that really fit so I opted for cute.  Cute will win out every time!)

Oh!  Happy Mother’s Day to you!

What has God delivered you from today?  Comment below so we can all share in the celebration!
